COWICHAN VALLEY HERITAGE QUILTERS

Cowichan Valley Heritage Quilters (CVHQ) was founded in 1990 as a non-profit group to facilitate the exchange of information between quilters and to promote interest in and appreciation of quilting. CVHQ provides workshops, classes, exhibitions and lectures on quilting and related fibre arts. As a quilt group along with fellowship, we strive to advance our quilting skill, explore new techniques and promote quilting in the community.

In the past 25 years we have lovingly made and donated 1500 quilts to organizations such as RCMP Victim Services, Cowichan District Hospital, Cowichan Midwives Association, Fire Victims in the Cowichan Valley, and Coast Mission Boats, to name a few.
