Spend a Saturday in the beautiful Cowichan Valley wandering around beautiful gardens and communing with nature. The tour includes six outstanding gardens and the countryside itself is redolent with sights and smells of spring at this time of year. Beautiful late spring and early summer plants and flowers make their appearance in early June and are not to be missed. Gardens include those that are low maintenance,a number with beautiful ocean views and ponds, wonderful displays of heather and other perennials, huge trees, small gardens and those are extensive park-like properties. Helen Chesnut, gardener columnist for the Times Colonist will be present for intimate garden chats at one of the gardens and there will be a tea, including refreshments, available for a nominal charge at another.

This event is a charity fundraiser for children and families in the Cowichan Valley. All proceeds go to the Cowichan Family Life Association.
