A holiday tradition that transcends the ages, this magical full-length ballet has been celebrated since it was first performed 121 years ago in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Come and share young Clara�s dream wherein her toy Nutcracker turns into a dashing Prince. Together they take us through the excitement of a battle to the effervescent beauty of snowflakes dancing in the air.
On the journey, we visit the Land of Sweets and meet exotic people from faraway places. Under the artistic direction of Dolores Kirkwood (OBC), a cast of 100+ dancers in bejewelled, colourful costumes perform to Tchaikovsky�s timeless musical score.
