A passion for dance, a love of Canada and a 25th Anniversary to celebrate inspired artistic director Bengt J�rgen to produce a major new production of the much-loved and quintessential ballet Swan Lake. While retaining the extraordinary beauty of traditional ballet in its purest form, J�rgen has added a hint of Canadian heritage by setting this Swan Lake in the picturesque seascape of the Fortress of Louisbourg, Nova Scotia, complete with 17th century costumes. Ballet J�rgen is an award-winning dance company, renowned for bringing the best in ballet to international and Canadian audiences.
