Cowichan HUB Community Barn Dance

Community Barn Dance is hosted by Sunrise Waldorf School and HUB Cowichan Station. It is for all-ages, parents, teens, grandparents, adults, college students, children, and everyone in between.
For safety, children under 2 will dance in parents' arms or off to the side. A partner is fun to have, but not necessary. Everyone will dance with multiple partners for every circle dance and pattern dance.
Want to celebrate a birthday or anniversary? Bring your whole tribe for a long-remembered evening of traditional Prairie fun.
Bring your enthusiasm, a water bottle and a smile. Also bring loonies and toonies for snacks.
There is plenty of hand sanitizer at the hall. If you are sick, please stay home, and we will welcome you at the next fun community dance.
Dance begins at 6:30 and finishes at 9:00. We understand if the parents of sleepy wee children might need to depart sooner.
You will smile 'til your cheeks hurt!
Wear a western hat for an extra cheer from the band.
