BOWKER CREEK is a popular acoustic roots band based out of Victoria on Vancouver Island. Sure they play some bluegrass but they throw in a blend of country, folk, jazz, blues and even a little swing to come up with their own special recipe for great listening music. Whether it's original tunes or familiar covers you'll love Bowker Creek's song selection, harmonies and musical energy.

BC has played to enthusiastic audiences from The Sooke Folk Music Society to the Deep Cove Folk Club, the Victoria Bluegrass Association and The Duncan Garage Showroom.

This five piece band consists of singer/songwriter Duncan Sutherland (guitar/lead/harmony vocals), Bonnie Duncan (guitar/lead/harmony vocals/percussion/harmonica), Martin Matychuk (bass and harmony vocals), Dan Ready (mandolin and 6 and 12 string guitars), and Doug VanDine (banjo and harmonies when they can get him in the right mood.)
