The Cowichan Consort Orchestra celebrates their 25th Season this 2015-16 . All new string players welcome. Any open Wind chair availability will be known after Oct 1st.
Resident Conductor Robert Mari leads the 3 concerts, the first being Nov 7th - An Evening of Russian Music. Mozart's Requiem will follow Feb 20th, with choir rehearsals starting Sept 16th at Sylvan U Church as well. Come sing the made famous by the movie Amadeus :Mozart's Requiem. Orchestra rehearses Mondays starting Sept 14th at Sylvan, located by Fr Kelsey High School, Mill Bay There is an annual membership fee. Car pooling is available.
May 7th's concert 's repertoire is TBA. Come join us. Young string students should have a grade 6 cons. level playing ability. Young & old musicians most welcome !!
