Woodward has been no stranger to songwriting and performing, from an early the influence of his father’s musical endeavours as a prominent Aboriginal Country Music Artist, paved the way for Cory’s life in music. His newest project The Lion The Bear The Fox were recent top 20 participants in the Peak Performance Project, where Woodward has sculpted and created the stage persona known as The Bear. At the heart of every song is a story and the Bear is as much a entertaining storyteller as he is a soulful singer. With vulnerability at the forefront Cory ‘The Bear’ Woodward doesn’t shy away from the life he has led, battling depression & addiction on numerous fronts has given Woodward a compassionate perspective for all people alike. “Connection is the ultimate form of healing, it precedes learning.
