Tue, Aug 18th , 8-10pm, Concert – Still Fools - folky bluesy rock Still Fools began jamming a few years ago as an acoustic rock trio. With the recent addition of a drummer they have been dabbling in electric zones too.
With a healthy respect for the likes of Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Johnny Cash, Great Big Sea… Still Fools concoct a folky, bluesy rock sound and have written quite a few songs. Hailing from Victoria, Still Fools gigs have been a rare sighting as songwriting has been their focus, but they still managed to share the stage with John Mann (Spirit of the West) and Neil Osborne (54-40).
They are developing a taste for such ventures and look forward to experiencing more as musicians… human beings… fools…
