Performing songs from his 2015 release 'Coal & Wood (Revisited)', an album of original songs that revisit the gritty mining and logging towns of Vancouver Island.
Gogo's haunting folk tales offer a fascinating look beneath the surface of history unfolded from 1895 to 1995. His songs explore the unique and layered lives of heroes and villains: the notorious Dunsmuirs, the visionary Finns of Sointula, labour martyr Ginger Goodwin, the ghost of Clarence Ballance and the infamous Brother XII. Tickets are $20 and include the CD.
