Sat, May 14th , 8-10pm, Concert – Doug Koyama + Aaron Goodwin - Improvised A capella, acoustic blues, roots, experimental Doug Koyama, a vocal looper based in Vancouver, BC; Aaron Goodwin and the Orchard, a duo from Victoria, BC playing slide guitar, harmonica, accordion, banjo, digerido, and; The Movie, an act that is a combination of all three of us.
The music that we have been creating is diverse and eclectic and very compelling. The Movie is a conceptual group that we have created for this tour. It will feature the three of us making songs based in constructs that we have developed for this purpose. Different combinations of instruments and musical styles will mean an endless number of possible combinations which will lead to moments of pure musical magic.
