Tue, Jul 7th , 8-10pm, Concert – Andrew Parkhouse and The Magpies – Wooden Rock Birthed in the southern interior of British Columbia, the Magpies have been garnished with the rich culture of the Kootenays....

While the band plays their acoustic fueled rock, they rally up a dance floor jamboree pushed along by a foot stomping beat. The five piece band calls Nelson their stomping grounds and has been playing clubs, pubs, and weddings for three years in the area. Andrew Parkhouse is a clearly an entertainer on and off of the stage. Sporting his stoic beard, Parkhouse is backed by his plaid covered band that plays what they call, ‘Wooden Rock’.
