The Compost Education Centre will be hosting their all organic spring plant sale this Saturday May 10th from 10am-2pm at their demonstration site at 1216 North Park Street. This popular market-style event will feature local farmers offering a plethora of fruit and vegetable starts for sale. Heirloom tomatoes, delicious salad greens, companion plants, medicinal herbs, and much more await you!

Every year the Compost Education Centre hosts this event to support local organic growers, to supply difficult to find organic plants to the community, and to raise awareness of the importance of locally produced produce and ecological gardening practices.

Join local famers from Saanich Organics, Haliburton Farm, Fiddlehead Farms, Mason Street City Farm, Metchosin Farm, City Harvest Co-op, Feisty Fields, DIY Fungi, Hobbee Plants and Ravenhill Herb Farm on May 9th and get your garden growing! Wildcrafted Consumable/Gather Victoria will be providing refreshments as live music plays in the background.

The Victoria Compost Education Centre is a non-profit organization with charitable status that provides composting and organic gardening education to residents of the CRD.
