This workshop kids (ages 6-8) will delve into the wacky world of worms and the compost that feeds our garden, and eventually us!
We�ll learn about the hows and whys of composting, work together to build a worm compost bin, and of course spend plenty of time exploring the worm bins at the Compost Ed Centre. We�ll have magnifying glasses, observation trays, paper and art supplies available for budding entomologists to document their findings. Each participant will leave with a deeper understanding of the compost ecosystem, lots of fun invertebrate facts and a homemade field guide to compost critters.
