It's a party year in Courtenay, 100th anniversary celebration! The Centennial Committee along with the Comox Valley July 1st Committee has arranged a week long concerts in parks and theatre, it including the first Comox Valley Multicultural Festival on June 27, to celebrate the National Multicultural Day as well.
The event is presented by Comox valley Multicultural Society, and it should will have a lot of fun. Latin is the theme of the multicultural celebration this year, The Brisas del Palmar, a famous Cuban band is coming o share the culture and music with all. Cumbias, Zumba, Bambucos, Tinikling, Flamenco, this will be a colourful, ethnic night full of energy, come and join us!
