Looking for a great Pro-D Day activity to do with your kids? Why not go fossil hunting?

Russ and Lori Ball have been teaching and exploring for over twenty years. We love to share our skills, passion and expertise on the local history, geology and fossil knowledge here in the Comox Valley. We have been offering talks and tours professionally for three years and have been sharing with friends, family and anyone else who will listen for many more!

A talk in the school includes a slide presentation, hands on identification, geology, and history and safety lesson before we head outside.

Every one attending is asked to wear proper footwear for hiking, weather appropriate clothes, and bring eye protection and a rock hammer if they have one. A backpack with hat, water, snacks, gloves and newspaper to wrap their goodies!

Survival trained, first aid certified and up to date criminal checks for classroom security.
