Community Workshop: Drinking Water and Watershed Protection
add to outlook add to google calendar remind me
The Regional District of Nanaimo has embarked on a Drinking Water and Watershed Protection Program to increase our understanding of water in the Regional District, improve land use planning to protect water resources, and educate and empower residents to protect water today and for the future.
In order to guide the implementation of the Drinking Water and Watershed Protection program, we need to work with local community members and groundwater specialists to better understand the state of water and aquatic resources in the RDN.
As part of the process, the RDN wants to know your concerns about water in the Regional District. All local residents are invited to a community workshop to hear what weve learned so far and to provide input to help guide future DWWP programs and water stewardship activities.
