The RDN's Drinking Water and Watershed Protection Program staff would like to invite you to learn more about water quality testing in our local waterways by attending the Community Watershed Monitoring Network (CWMN) results session.
This years' results session will include:
1.2013 water quality monitoring results
(4:00 - 4:45 pm)
2.Three year trends observed by this program
(4:45 - 5:30 pm)
3.Open house to meet and interact with environmental stewardship groups in your community (5:30 - 7:00 pm)
The CWMN is a partnership between local environmental stewardship groups, the Ministry of Environment and the Regional District of Nanaimo. Since 2011, community volunteers have been consistently monitoring key waterways to collect information on water quality with the goal of obtaining information about the health of our local streams.
Join us anytime throughout the evening. Refreshments will be provided.
