Community Carol Festival - Launch the Christmas season as nine community choirs entertain and inspire with the sounds of the season at the 20th annual Community Carol Festival. Enjoy beautiful choral singing and join in singing favourite carols. Following the festival, join the choirs at a reception in the church hall.
Admission by donation with proceeds going to St. Andrew’s United Church and the Salvation Army.
This year’s participating choirs are: A Cappella Plus – Patricia Plumley, director Camerata Singers - Marian Smith, director Harbour City Singers - Lionel Tanod, director Island Bel Canto Singers – Sharon Sinclair, director Nanaimo Youth Concert Choir - Marian Smith, director Nanaimo Youth Junior Choir –Lindsay Suddaby, asst. Director Sinclair Singers - Sharon Sinclair, director Malaspina Choir – Lionel Tanod, director VIU College Singers – Patrick Carpenter, director
