This experiential, eco-spiritual retreat draws on the teachings of Joanna Macy’s The Work that Reconnects.
As the unsustainable economic and social systems of our time continue to ravish the Earth and show increasing signs of instability, we are encouraged to be ever vigilant to the task of creating a new society from within. With greater urgency, we are called as Earth Stewards to bring the Great Turning home to our communities through our day to day actions – to protect what remains of ecosystems, to build as much resilience as we can through new ways of being, and to deepen our respect for all life and our place in this great wondrous Universe.
This retreat is an invitation to come together in community and find hope where we feel overwhelmed, to find inspiration when confronted with greed and disrespect by old systems, to replace despair with purposeful intent.
Coming Home is an invitation to Reconnect within community with our Love for Mother Earth.
