Combing Through Natural History
add to outlook add to google calendar remind me
Beachcombers’ students are exploring their environment through the age-old art and science of Natural History. In a study of Fanny Bay estuaries, students explore ecosystems, observe specimens and use drawing as a method for recording their observations. This exhibition touches on the centuries-old tradition in the biological sciences of using art as an instrument to better understand the detail of flora and fauna. Through discovery, children connect with nature, and through art, they connect with community.
