The Nanaimo Chapter of the Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA) presents their Summer Juried Show and Sale of Fine Art. The theme is Coastal Expressions allowing all the artists to create a wide variety of work from abstract to representational. There will be works in watercolour, oils, and acrylic and those paintings selected for hanging by a jury of senior artist-members of the organization will have been chosen from a very large number of entries, ensuring the best of the best for your viewing pleasure. And for your listening pleasure, the Wellington Jazz Trio will play during the Opening Reception on Friday evening. Artists will be in attendance and awards will be presented.This is a must see event for all art lovers, students and collectors.
