We recognize the power of youth; when they believe in a cause and work with others, they can change the world. This year, we will collaborate with schools, youth councils, clubs, philanthropists, and other youth groups to facilitate the Coast Capital Savings Power of Youth: Giving Hearts Workshop. Through the Workshop Toolkit, we will provide youth with a new foundation of skills in philanthropy that they can apply within their community.

Thanks to the generosity of the Andrew Beckerman Fund at the Victoria Foundation, each youth group will be given the opportunity to provide a submission that shows what they have learned about philanthropy and select a charity to receive a $250 donation through CanadaHelps.

Please note: The philanthropy toolkit will be available online to the entire community. You only need to register if you would like to take part in the challenge, receive a $250 donation for your group to designate, and be featured in National Philanthropy Day promotions.
