ACER is a university based public outreach initiative to promote a greater understanding of the science and social implications of climate change to students and the general public. This inter-disciplinary project is rooted in the belief that making informed decisions on the issue of climate change requires greater public engagement and a deeper understanding of this complex topic.
Who should attend? The symposium and workshops are designed for students, staff and faculty as well as members of the general public. What will I learn? Our primary goal is to provide opportunities to mobilize knowledge, improve scientific literacy and promote social change.
