Clara Hughes Ribbon Cutting Event

The Bipolar Disorder Society of BC invites you to please join us on Thursday May 15th from 2-3:15 pm on the Legislative Grounds for the Ribbon Cutting amd welcoming event when 6 time Olympic Champion Clara Hughes arrives in Victoria on her leg of Bell Canada's Clara's Big Ride in support of Mental Health Awareness. Lieutenant Governor Judith Guichon will perform the ribbon cutting and a member of the BC Liberal Party will be speaking.
Traditional music will be performed by the Yellow Wolf Drummer Group and inspirational speeches will be given by Executive Director and Bipolar Babe Andrea Paqueette, 17 yr old Jamie van Gessel and Julia Wilkes. Local community associations that provide resources for mental health and addictions will be there to provide information on their services.
We encourage everyone to come down to this free event to give Clara a very warm welcome to the beautiful city of Victoria and show her our support!
