Trying to figure out what to do with your Christmas tree once the holidays are over? Nanaimo Search and Rescue (NSAR) can help.
With the support of VItree Services, NSAR will be hosting a tree chipping fundraiser in the Country Club Mall parking lot (near the Dairy Queen) on Saturday, January 6th and Sunday January 7th from 11am to 4pm. Trees will be chipped on-site by VITree Services by donation to NSAR.
All funds raised will be used towards the construction of a new search and rescue hall to be used for training, office use and equipment/vehicle storage.
