Sidney Concert Band presents an entertaining evening of family-friendly seasonal music, vocals and an audience sing-along on Monday, December 11.
Pre-show Flute Ensemble at 6:30 pm. Main show at 7 pm.
An assortment of Christmas favourites such as It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year and Spirit of Christmas - a medley including Good King Wenceslas, Coventry Carol, Away in a Manger, Pat-A-Pan and Joy to the World.
Vocalists will present Christmas From The 50’s and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. The evening will feature special guests, the High Notes Flute Choir and the band's own brass section in A Merry Brassy Christmas. Lots of variety with Christmas Jazz Suite, Gesu Bambino and An Irving Berlin Christmas to warm the heart.
Conducted by Bruce Ham.
Concert proceeds will go to the three Peninsula High School Band programs. Parkland Theatre and parking located at the back of the Parkland High School, in North Saanich. By donation only at the door. Food Bank items also encouraged.
