Echoes from the Edges is an opportunity to hear voices of today tell their stories of poverty and homelessness through poetry and prose. Come and listen to the harsh reality and stark beauty of struggle and courage. The music mirrors the stories of isolation and anguish and lights a candle to hope. These stories take on deeper meaning in the shadow of the �holiday focus� and point directly to the factors which bring folk to the edges. It is hoped this event will challenge people to re-think the values which lie behind the me-focused, consumer culture in our city.
