SOJOURN TO INDIA. Spice up your evening with the sights and sounds of a bustling Indian Marketplace, offering Nepali, Tibetan and Indian artifacts. Stroll with your friends as you listen to the exotic Sitar strings of Ryan Power. Tasty appetizers and no-host beverages will be served, but leave room for an amazing Indian dinner buffet, prepared by Amrikkos of Parksville.(Non Indian food available). Meet humanitarians Bonnie and Fred Cappuccino ,recipients of the Order of Canada, as they show and share their work with children and destitute women in India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Tibet. A past volunteer will share her experience at the home in Bangladesh. Exciting entertainment provided by a group of Oceanside young adults "Kumbana Marimba". Silent auction items up for bid. For several years, tickets for this event "the cultural event of the year" have been sold out before the doors opened to it's limited seating participants, so get your tickets early. All funds raised will support Child Haven's 1,200 disadvantaged children on the subcontinent.

$35 advance; $5 children uner 13 and $40 at the door.
