Get into the Christmas spirit with the Museum at Campbell River! 

On Saturday, December 13 from 1 pm – 4 pm as part of the ‘Festival of Trees Celebration’, the Museum will be hosting an afternoon of Christmas joy. 

The event will feature hot roasted chestnuts by the Campbell River Italian Cultural Society.  Accordian music will also be wafting in the air from 1 to 1:30 pm.  Musical performances from True Blue, a vocal jazz group whose members are Kathy Freeman, Julie Johnson, Colleen Krasman and Jean Valikoski, will present some Christmas holiday favourites (1:30 pm and again at 3pm).  RainCoast Creative Performing Arts students, ages from 5-18, will present a short holiday performance of Musical Theatre and will sing a few sing-a-long songs at the end of the performance (2 pm-2:30 pm).

And Santa will be making an appearance at 2:30!  Have your lists ready for Santa as he’ll be taking note of what to put under the tree this year.  This is a free family event.  Hot Cider and goodies will be provided.
