Chemainus Meeting on Municipal Budget

Chemainus citizens will have a local opportunity to communicate their views of the proposed District of North Cowichan budget at a meeting sponsored by the Chemainus Residents Association. Thus far, there have been several public meetings and comment opportunities on the budget at the Municipal Hall but none held closer to home for Chemainus residents.

The meeting�s format will include a presentation of the draft budget by Mayor Jon Lefebure and staff, small group discussions to identify what�s good in the budget, what�s a problem, what citizens don�t understand. The Mayor and staff will be asked to respond to those concerns and questions.
