Volunteers needed. Earth day is on April 22nd but this is right after Easter weekend, so we will be doing our annual Spring clean up of Kin Beach on April 26 instead. Kin Beach is at the end of Maple Street in Chemainus.

This will be our 5th year that the Neighbourhood House coordinates an Earth Day clean up for Chemainus. This is a great opportunity for youth and families to get involvement in the community and do something for the environment. The Chemainus event is one of several to take place in the valley, but last year we were delighted to have people from as far away as Nanaimo help us out.

Hot chocolate and coffee will also be served!
