Chemainus Classical Concerts presents: Pianist Bruce Vogt "Ultimate Visions" In departure from the usual format of a classical concert,
"Ultimate Visions" will feature a theatrical story line in which the internationally acclaimed pianist will make his debut as a playwright and actor. The program, which will appeal to all ages, is divided into three sections. In the first, called "Debussy and Beethoven: Purgatory Mates (A Vision)" Mr Vogt will be taking on the roles of Monsieur Claude Debussy and Herr Ludvig van Beethoven. After setting the mood with this story, he will bring to life three poetic compositions by Debussy: "Bell heard Through the Leaves", "The Moon Shines Down on the Temple that Was" and "Goldfish." Finally and fittingly, Beethoven's tremendous last sonata, Op.111 in C Minor, gets the last word. Advance Tickets: $17 Phone 250-748-8383
