Chemainus Classical Concerts presents:
"Instruments of Change" - The Key Wind Trio: Margaret St. Cyr, French horn; Yvonne Gillespie, piano, and Annick Richardson, clarinet.
A well established ensemble of Cowichan musicians, who, through years of collaboration have forged a strong friendship and musical bond, evident in their polished performances.
Their concert highlights the evolution of their respective instruments during the 1800's. Works by Herzogenberg, Reinecke, Bruch and Kahn demonstrate the musical possibilities that these changes provided.
