The style of this basket is often associated with east coast native basketry. In fact, Joan has a version of this basket made with ash wood. Here we mix east and west since we will be using western red cedar bark to weave our plaited and twined wall hanging basket. Cedar bark harvest and preparation will be discussed and demonstrated.
