Cattail Lidded Basket Workshop

Make a basket with Joan Carrigan using common locally harvested natural materials. We will be using cattail leaves, rush and cordage made from common plant leaves, to weave a round storage basket with lid. We will use a mold will help us maintain our shape and the discussion will cover harvest and preparation of materials. All material included Tools to Bring: ruler, scissors, string, an old towel, spray bottle.
