Cathedral Lunchtime Recital - Trumpet & Bassoon

Trumpeter Jim Stubbs and bassoonist Lauren Stubbs are now welcomed to Victoria after long and distinguished careers in the New York music scene.
They're joined by rising young Victoria-educated pianist Matthew Poon. They'll play a Vivaldi's G Minor Concerto, Fantasies by Morley and Gibbons, Selections from Max Bruch's Eight Pieces, originally for Clarinet Viola and Piano, Aaron Copland's Quiet City, a brand new composition just for them by Jonathan Newmark, and André Jolivet`s Pastoral de Noel.
Proceeds from donated admission support the noon-time recitals. This is the first of two January Friday noon-hour recitals.
