Through celebration and education, we are able to bring awareness to the vast and rich tradition of coastal carving, build cultural bridges and create a space for reconciliation in action. We feature and uphold professional artists alongside cultural leaders, emphasizing how art and culture are inextricably linked in First Nations traditions. Our educational components encompass the historical and contemporary, and the interests of both the public and artists. Through carefully curated programming, we create both formal and informal opportunities for coastal carving artists to connect with each other and with arts professionals from up and down the coast.
