Carron Berkes is an internationally collected local artist who enjoys painting, sculpting and photography. Working as a multi-media visual artist in painting (acrylics and watercolours), mixed media, recycled art and found objects, her many colourful themes include the natural world (plants, animals and landscapes), abstraction, figurative and whimsical narratives.

Her art is in private collections in Canada, Germany and America. On exhibit throughout the month of April at La Collina Café and Sushi is an eclectic mix of acrylic paintings. The works presented in this small exhibit illuminate Berkes’ multi-faceted appreciation of realism, abstraction, landscape and still lifes. Infused with simplicity and imagination, each possesses a unique combination of subtle and vibrant energy, light, color, shape and form.

The art show runs until April 29th. Free community event and suitable for all ages and family members.
