WALKING TO JAPAN Born during a WW2 air raid, Derek Youngs was thrown into the harsh reality of humanity's dark side with his first breaths. Perhaps it is no wonder he became a peace pilgrim, walking 25,000 km through 25 countries in 25 years. As he journeyed, and experienced the inner calm that walking brought, his manifesto turned to mantra. After he died suddenly in 2011, his widow Carolyn Affleck Youngs completed his memoir Walking to Japan, the touching and humorous tale of learning to live one step at a time.
