Cari’s rich alto voice stirs your heart as she takes you around the world through song. Her unique style, ‘Dramatic Gypsy Cabaret’ is a vibrant, genre-defying, fusion of jazz, folk, opera and world music; seamlessly blending multiple languages with a timeless, theatrical air.

Her stellar back up band consists of some of the most outstanding instrumentalists on the West Coast, including Adrian Dolan on piano and accordion and Richard Moody on violin and viola. The official ‘Wild Is the Wind’ video, created by the talented Trent Freeman, will be available online.

Enjoy passionate and energetic performances. Songs presented include songs from her album, Magnolia, Edith Piaf’s “Le Vie en Rose,” “Loveliness” by Vancouver Island’s Anne Schaffer, Cari’s new, original song “Open Our Hearts” as well as additional new arrangements of Canadian classics from Leonard Cohen, Lhasa de Sela and Joni Mitchell, as well as uplifting Italian, Spanish and Swedish songs.

The Tour starts with the Harvest of Music Festival in the gorgeous Qualicum Beach, where Cari will perform a collection of Autumn songs with Ron Hadley, Tony Booker and friends. Together with Adrian Dolan and Richard Moody, Cari will then perform at the Upstairs Lounge in Victoria, where you can have dinner and a show, then up to Cumberland at Studio Live, where the show will be filmed and then to Gabriola Island to perform at the funky Hive.
