Cara McCandless, member of PixElle and the McCandless Family, performs at the Duncan Showroom on December 17.

Cara has been performing and writing music for over 20 years and through life's lessons and experiences has written over 100 songs. Cara's ability to evoke feeling through her works will give you goosebumps and touch your hearts.
In 2000 Cara was a winner of 100.3 The Q’s radio contest, “Rocktoria” that enabled her to record "Shamed", "Put Me Under", and "Hair-do" with a producer and gain radio airplay where "Shamed " reached #3 on the charts at CHLY in Naniamo.
Cara is currently playing bass and has released an album with her family act, "McCandless Family Band", featuring her originals "No Escape", "Royalties", "Our Love is Strong", "Sweet Revenge" and "Us". Cara is in the studio working with Producer/Engineer Tanya Gillespie and is aiming for an 2013 release date.
