Delta Hotels and Resorts will put a fun and wacky twist on the traditional car wash as they join Habitat for Humanity and the local Victoria community to launch the Delta Community Cruiser Tour.
Locals will be invited to bring their cars for a scrub while lunch, music and celebrity impersonators add to the fun. Some local �celebrity washers� may even stop by to help sponge a car or two. All proceeds from the event will be in support of Habitat for Humanity Victoria.
The Delta Community Cruiser Tour is a summer-long journey that will see six selected Delta employees travel across Canada to build stronger communities through various volunteer and fundraising activities. The tour will support Delta�s goal of raising $1 million and donating 10,000 volunteer hours to local charities from coast to coast throughout 2010.
