Canstruction Victoria 2015

Canstruction® is a unique charity that hosts competitions, exhibitions and events showcasing colossal structures made entirely out of full cans of food. After the structures are built, the creations go on display to the public as a giant art exhibition. At the end of the event, all food is donated to local hunger relief organizations, which for us is The Mustard Seed.
Recognized for our commitment to innovation, hunger relief and collaboration, our work has helped raise over 21 million pounds of food since 1992. Canstruction events are held annually in over 150 cities around the world including North America, Australia, South America, Europe and Asia.
Canstruction Victoria is put on by The Dahlia Society.
The Dahlia Society is a Victoria, British Columbia not-for-profit organization that provides support to local community programs, organizations and families in need. We strive to make our community a better place to live by helping those who need it most, when they need it the most. The Society holds several signature events each year, including Canstruction Victoria and Think Pink!, supporting The Mustard Seed and local breast cancer initiatives respectively.
Every dollar raised through the Society’s innovative fundraising efforts will stay local.
