Canadian Power & Sail Squadrons: Maritime Radio Course (VHF) - Victoria

This radio course will provide you with the regulations, procedures and distress communications for your Restricted Operators Certificate (Maritime). It includes the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System information and Digital Select Calling. After passing the exam, you will receive your Restricted Operators Certificate (Maritime) required to be using the VHF radio.
This course will run for 2 weeks on Tuesday and Thursday - March 1, 3, 8 & 10.
- If you don't have a VHF licence take the FULL course.
- If you have a licence you may want to take the refresher.
- If you have an older licence and would like to upgrade to the DSC certification choose that option.
