Eugene Smith comes by it honestly. His father Al Lucas played for Duke Ellington and James Brown among others and his legacy lives on in the soul and passion of Eugene. His unique character has eluded critics who describe his style as anywhere from Sam Cook to Keb Mo’.
Having recorded and toured extensively with Ronnie Hawkins, he has also performed with BB King, Gordon Lightfoot, Ian Tyson and James Cotton.
