Saturday, March 14th, 2015
1:00 PM to 2:30 PM

Birders, individuals, students studying forestry, conservation, or biology and environmentally active groups or staff will be very interested in this upcoming presentation. On Saturday, March 14 from 1-2:30pm, John Neville will present Avian Carpenters: Canada's Woodpeckers.  Neville is Past President of BC Nature, and brings his enthusiasm for the topic of his talk based on a lifelong interest in birds which began in England.

Neville is a regular supplier of nature recordings to the Library of Natural Sounds, and his work is now being exhibited in the new Robert Bateman Centre in Victoria.  He is currently working on his most ambitious project to date, “Bird Songs of Canada”

Neville is hoping to create interest in forming a naturalists club in Campbell River that would be affiliated with BC Nature.
