The Canada Learning Bond is Free Money, that will be deposited into your Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP), for your child's future education costs. Come to this Sign-Up-Event and receive all the government funding that is available to you. Service Canada and RESP providers will be present to complete the sign up process, quickly, and completely free.
The Government of Canada provides up to $2000 into your RESP if your child is born during, or after 2004, and you receive the National Child Benefit Supplement.
The British Columbia Government will deposit $1200 if you start the RESP before your child is 7.
That's a potential total of $3,200 for your child's post-secondary education, completely free.
