Canada Day Party with Lazy Mike and the Rockin' Recliners

Come out to celebrate Canada's Birthday and dance to the Harp Driven Rockin' Blues of Lazy Mike and the Rockin' Recliners! Wear red and white, wave a flag and celebrate your Canadian pride with us. There are games and activities in our beautiful licensed backyard as well as a dunk tank to cool off in, so bring a friend. The doors open at noon, dancing from 3 pm to 7 pm and barbecue at 6 pm.

Lazy Mike and the Rockin' Recliners have been ROCKIN' the Island since 2007 with appearances at many Blues Festivals such as the "Vancouver Island Blues Bash", in Victoria, "Summertime Blues", in Nanaimo, and the Powell River Blues Festival, in Powell River, plus many other Fairs, Pubs, and Clubs all over the Island and the BC Interior. In 2012, the band has had the wonderful opportunity to play at the "Summer Street Dance" in Hedley BC, and the "Sky High Blues Festival" in Rock Creek BC. They also are very excited to be included in the "Nanaimo Marine Festival" and "Blues in the Park" in Nanaimo BC, and of course their return to the "Vancouver Island Blues Bash 2012" in Victoria. They will be playing at the SummerTime Blues at Maffeo Sutton Park on August 23rd-25th 2013.

With the release of their CD "Life's Been Pretty Good" to enthusiastic fans everywhere, the band is excited to have had the opportunity to share the stage and billing with such fine talents. The band is currently working as they ready themselves for recording their next CD of original Rockin' Blues.
