Take on the peak of the summer salmon runs at Painter’s Lodge this year. This family Derby takes place on the weekend of our nation's holiday and awards some pretty awesome prizes to children (up to 18yrs) and adults too!
Every Chinook (Spring) salmon caught at Painter’s Lodge and April Point during the derby is automatically entered into the derby. The angler with the biggest Chinook each day will win a prize (per resort).
The person who catches the biggest salmon for the entire weekend will win the grand prize: A 3 day/2 night fishing package at Painter’s Lodge!
